Holešky testnet will support over 1.4 million validators, surpassing the combined count of the Ethereum mainnet and Goerli testnet. This high count enables thorough testing of apps to detect and fix potential scaling issues.
With about 1.6 billion Holešky ETH (HolETH) available, the testnet aims to minimize participation barriers for testing programs and ensure proper protocol testing before mainnet deployment, addressing the supply friction experienced on the Goerli testnet.
Holešky mirrors the Ethereum network and runs on a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm. Its high validator count and ample token supply create test environment for staking features, infrastructures, and protocols.
