The voting weight of each user is closely linked to the amount of the platform's governance token, POLIS, they own and their commitments to the well-being of the Star Atlas ecosystem. Users have to stake POLIS to become eligible to partake in on-chain governance. At the time of writing, Star Atlas DAO has over 40,000+ members.
