What is Star Atlas?
Star Atlas, launched in 2021, is a futuristic space-themed AAA strategy game built on Solana. Players explore, conquer, and earn in a player-driven economy, collecting and trading non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that represent in-game items within the Star Atlas metaverse. Star Atlas features multiple game modes including SAGE Labs for browser-based fleet management and resource mining, Holosim for free-to-play strategic fleet simulation, and third-person exploration with ship-to-ship combat. Players have complete control over their virtual environment, with the ability to build cities or form DAOs to govern regions. The in-game economy has generated $68.3M in total volume traded and $21.1M in annual GDP. Players receive ATLAS, the in-game currency, as rewards.
